Google review link & QR generator
Get it from your Google Business Profile: search your business name on Google while logged in, then tap Ask for reviews (or Read reviews → Get more reviews) and copy the link.
Find it with Google’s free Place ID Finder: type your business name and copy the ID that starts with ChIJ.
How to use the Google review QR code generator
- Paste the review link from your Google Business Profile, or switch to Place ID and paste your Place ID.
- Add your business name so it appears on the printable card.
- Tap Test to make sure the link opens your review form.
- Download the QR code for your bills, packaging or visiting cards, or the printable card for your counter.
- Copy the WhatsApp message, or tap Send on WhatsApp to share it with a customer.
Why a direct review link matters
Most happy customers are willing to leave a review, but few will search for your business, find the listing and look for the review button. A direct link or QR code removes those steps, so the review form opens in one tap.
Reviews also feed into how your business appears on Google. Google says the number of reviews and positive ratings can improve your local ranking, alongside relevance, distance and prominence.
Best times to ask for a review
- Right after a good experience: at billing, at the end of an appointment or when an order is delivered.
- In your thank-you message: a WhatsApp or SMS sent the same day gets a much warmer response than one sent weeks later.
- Where people wait: a card at reception, on the table or near the payment counter.
Stay within Google’s rules
- Don’t offer discounts, gifts or cashback in exchange for reviews.
- Don’t ask only happy customers. Asking everyone keeps your profile safe.
- Don’t write reviews for yourself or ask staff to do it.
- Reply to reviews, both good and bad. It shows future customers you care.

Frequently asked questions
How do I get my Google review link?
Log in to the Google account that manages your Business Profile, search your business name on Google or open it in Google Maps, and choose Ask for reviews (sometimes under Read reviews or Get more reviews). Copy the link it gives you and paste it into this tool.
What if I can’t find the Ask for reviews button?
Switch to Use Place ID. Find your Place ID with Google’s free Place ID Finder, paste it here, and the tool builds a review link for you. Always tap Test to check that it opens your review form.
Does the QR code expire?
No. The QR code contains your review link directly, with no redirect or tracking service in between, so it works as long as your Google link works.
Can I offer a discount for reviews?
No. Google’s policy does not allow offering incentives for reviews or asking only happy customers to review (review gating). Ask every customer and let them write honestly.
What size should I print the QR code?
Around 3 × 3 cm is the practical minimum for a counter card; larger is easier to scan. Print on a white background and test the printed code with two or three different phones before you place it.
