Real Estate SEO Services in India

93Digital runs SEO for real estate developers, builders, channel partners and property consultants across India. We get your projects found on Google for the searches buyers actually make, like “3 BHK flats in Wakad” or “ready to move flats near Whitefield”, and we track every enquiry that comes from search.

Why real estate SEO is different

Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions a family makes. Buyers research for weeks or months, compare localities, check builder track records, look up RERA details and only then call. Your website has to show up at each of those moments, not just when someone types your brand name.

The other challenge is the property portals. Sites like 99acres, MagicBricks, Housing.com and NoBroker rank for broad searches such as “flats in Pune”. You don’t need to beat them there. The opportunity is in the narrower searches they cover poorly: a specific project, a specific locality with a specific configuration, a builder’s name, possession dates, floor plans and price lists. Those searches come from buyers who are much closer to a site visit.

Problems we fix

Portals rank for your own project

Someone searches your project’s name and sees portal listings and old ads first, so the enquiry goes through a middleman.

One page, or one PDF, per project

Floor plans, amenities, location and pricing sit inside a brochure PDF that Google can’t read well, so the project page has nothing to rank for.

Heavy sites that load slowly

Big 3D renders, sliders and walkthrough videos make pages slow on mobile data, and buyers leave before the enquiry form loads.

Site office missing on Google Maps

The sales office or experience centre has no Google Business Profile, or it shows the wrong hours and phone number.

No idea which search brought a lead

Calls, WhatsApp chats and form fills aren’t tracked back to the page or keyword, so you can’t tell what’s working.

Compliance details hidden or missing

RERA registration numbers and links are missing on project pages and ads, which hurts buyer trust and can attract regulator notices.

What our real estate SEO includes

  • A page for every project

Each project gets its own crawlable page with configuration, carpet area ranges, floor plans, amenities, location advantages, possession timeline and RERA details as text, not just images.

  • Locality and configuration pages

Useful pages for searches like “2 BHK in Baner” or “villa plots near Sarjapur Road”, built only where you have real inventory to show.

  • Google Business Profile for sales offices

Setup and upkeep for staffed sales offices and experience centres: categories, hours, photos, posts and a steady flow of genuine reviews.

  • Technical SEO and speed

Compressed renders, lazy-loaded walkthroughs, clean URLs, sitemaps and structured data so pages load fast on a phone and Google understands them.

  • Buyer guides that earn trust

Plain-language content on topics buyers search before they call: stamp duty and registration, home loan steps, RERA checks, possession and handover.

  • Links from relevant sites

Mentions from local news, property blogs and business directories. No paid link schemes or fake reviews.

  • Lead tracking end to end

Calls, WhatsApp clicks and forms tracked in Google Analytics 4, so every enquiry is tied to the page and search that produced it.

  • Monthly report in plain language

Rankings for your project and locality keywords, enquiries from search and the work planned for next month.

Who this is for

  • Developers and builders with one or more residential or commercial projects who want more direct enquiries and fewer portal-dependent leads.
  • Channel partners and brokers who sell inventory across several projects and want to rank for the localities they cover.
  • Plotted development and villa projects where buyers search by road, landmark or town.
  • Commercial real estate: office space, co-working and retail leasing, where searches are very local and very specific.

The searches we go after

Every plan starts from your inventory and the localities you sell in. These are the kinds of searches we build pages for:

Search typeExampleWhere the buyer is
Project and brand“[project name] price list”, “[builder] reviews”Ready to visit
Locality + configuration“3 BHK flats in Wakad”, “ready to move 2 BHK Thane West”Shortlisting
Near a landmark“flats near Hinjewadi Phase 1”, “plots near Yamuna Expressway”Comparing areas
Buyer research“how to check RERA registration”, “stamp duty in Maharashtra”Early research
Commercial“office space for lease in Baner”, “retail shop for rent Gurugram”Ready to enquire

RERA details on your pages and ads

Under section 11(2) of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, a registered project’s advertising has to show its RERA registration number and the state authority’s website. Some states go further. MahaRERA, for example, requires the registration number, the website link and a scannable QR code in every form of advertisement, including digital and social media, and can impose a penalty of up to ₹50,000 for violations (source).

We build these details into every project page and landing page as standard, in a way that looks clean on mobile. Rules differ by state and change over time, so we always confirm the final format with your RERA consultant or legal team. We are a marketing agency, not lawyers.

SEO, portals and ads: how they fit together

ChannelWhat it’s good forThe catch
Property portalsVolume of enquiries quickly, especially for broad city searchesShared leads, and you pay for visibility on every listing
Google and Meta adsLaunches and offers that need reach this weekResults stop the day the budget stops
SEO on your own siteDirect enquiries from buyers searching your project, locality and brandTakes a few months to build up

Most developers need all three. SEO is the one that keeps working between launches and lowers your dependence on paid channels over time. We also run Google and Meta ads if you want one team to manage both. To plan the ad budget, see what Google Ads costs in India.

Two free tools help on the ground: the QR code generator for your own links on brochures and site boards (the MahaRERA QR code itself must come from MahaRERA), and the WhatsApp link generator for a click-to-chat link on project pages and ads. For launch campaigns, the ad creative resizer gives you every Meta and Google size from one design, and our guide to how Meta ads work covers the basics.

How we work

  1. Audit (week 1). We review your site, your projects’ current rankings, your Google Business Profiles, competing builders and the portals in your localities.
  2. Plan (week 2). You get a written 90-day plan: which projects and localities to target first, the pages to build or fix, and how leads will be tracked.
  3. Build (months 1–3). Project and locality pages, technical fixes, profile setup, tracking and the first buyer guides.
  4. Grow and report (every month). New content, links and updates for possession and price changes, with a plain-language report each month.

What to expect, and when

Real estate SEO is not instant, and anyone who guarantees rankings is guessing. For a project page in a city where the competition is moderate, the first movement in rankings usually shows within 6–12 weeks, and steady enquiries take 3–6 months. Project-name searches move fastest. Broad locality searches take the longest because the portals compete for them.

We report what actually happened each month, including what didn’t work, and what we will change next.

Real estate SEO FAQs

How much do real estate SEO services cost in India?

It depends on how many projects and localities you want to target, and how much work your current site needs. A single project in one city needs far less than a developer with ten projects across three cities. Your free audit ends with a fixed monthly quote, so you know the cost before you commit.

How long does real estate SEO take to show results?

Project-name searches often improve within 6–12 weeks. Locality and configuration searches usually take 3–6 months, because the property portals compete strongly for them.

Can we rank above 99acres or MagicBricks?

For broad searches like “flats in Pune”, rarely, and it isn’t the goal. For your project name, your brand and specific locality and configuration searches where you have stock, yes, a well-built project page can rank at or near the top.

Do you work with channel partners and brokers?

Yes. For brokers we focus on the localities and price segments you cover, and on building trust through useful buyer guides and genuine reviews.

Will you show our RERA number and QR code on project pages?

Yes, as standard. We add the registration number, the authority’s website and, where your state requires it, the QR code, and we confirm the format with your RERA consultant.

Do you also run ads for project launches?

Yes. Launches usually need Google and Meta ads for quick reach, while SEO builds steady direct enquiries. We can manage both and report them together.

Which cities do you work in?

We work with real estate businesses across India. Local SEO work is done city by city and locality by locality, so it doesn’t matter where your projects are.
